Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada

A truly affordable housing provider - NHS provides homebuyer education, credit counseling and down-payment assistance. This non-profit group is unique in that it can provide asistance to people that have incomes up to 140% of the area media income - most other agencies/programs of this type cut the limit off at 80%.

Rebuilding Together

Their mission is to rehabilitate housing for low-income home-owners.  Everything from electrical to plumbing, roofing to ac/heat, to home-modifications for seniors. These services are at no cost to the client. The groups' Christmas in April is a huge event  yearly that rehabs 50-55 homes that weekend only!
